Zikman Tiber Elegance MK2 — Flagship Hybrid OCC Copper & Silver Audiophile Cable

Zikman Tiber Elegance MK2 is a flagship hybrid IEM cable, uniting audiophile-grade precision, a distinctive sonic signature, and impeccable hand craftsmanship. This is the second generation of the Tiber model, in which we have strengthened the silver concept of the cable, updated the hardware, and refined both structural and acoustic performance to its highest level.

The cable is built on an 8-conductor (4+4) architecture: each signal side consists of four conductors made of pure 7N OCC copper (130 ultra-fine strands of 0.05 mm each) and four conductors made of high-purity 7N silver (55 strands of 0.05 mm each). All conductors feature a litz-type structure, reducing skin effect, minimizing parasitic currents, and maintaining stable signal transmission across the entire frequency range. This distribution allows each metal to express its strongest qualities—copper provides body, density, and natural saturation, while silver contributes transparency, speed, and airiness. The result is a tonally balanced, highly detailed, and musically engaging presentation, free from harshness or artificial coloration.

One of the key upgrades in the MK2 version is the AECO 4.4 mm balanced connector made of tellurium copper with a pure silver plating of 120 microinches on all contact surfaces—without a nickel underlayer. This design eliminates parasitic transitional layers, lowers resistance, and ensures cleaner signal transfer. It represents one of the highest plating specifications in the industry. Combined with the increased silver content in our proprietary solder, this enhancement reinforces the overall cable concept and delivers a presentation that is truly transparent, fast, and musically fluid.

The cable is hand-braided using the Kumihimo technique on a modernized Marudai loom. Each cable requires up to fifteen hours of a craftsman’s work, with careful control of tension, symmetry, and line smoothness. After the splitter, the cable transitions into a tight twist, reducing microphonic noise, preserving geometry, and improving everyday usability.

The sound of Tiber Elegance MK2 is defined by scale, texture, and precision: low frequencies are tight and controlled, the midrange is clean and natural, and the treble is smooth yet rich, with refined extension. Every solder joint is completed by hand, with a tactile marker on the right connector for intuitive channel orientation. Each unit is supplied with a unique Zikman ID, confirming individual assembly, precise resistance control, and compliance with flagship standards.
